How do I measure my outdoor table and chairs for a cover?

The best outdoor dining set covers fit like a glove over both the table and chairs, as one unit. Individual products have a step-by-step guide to help you take accurate measurements. As a general guide:

1. Position the chairs around the table, tucked in as they would be when the cover is on.
2. Measure from the back of one chair to the back of the chair on the opposite side.
3. If there are protruding legs or other overhangs, take this into account.
4. Measure the height, from the floor to the top of the chairs (the highest point may be a cushion rather than the chair frame!)
